About Shanna

Shanna Masters Moczygemba is a native Texan, and Registered Interior Designer-turned artist. Shanna has loved drawing and painting since toddlerhood, and started painting in watercolor at the age of eight. She graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in Interior Environmental Design. After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Daryl, and began working full-time with the design firm where she completed her internship. She passed her state board exams to become a Registered Interior Designer, and is licensed with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners. After 13 years of working in high-end residential and commercial design, she moved on to pursue her dream of painting full-time. Shanna paints original watercolor artwork and commissioned pieces, and works with stationers and companies to create everything from wedding and event invitations, to logos. In her free time she enjoys hitting the gym, kayaking, photography, baking, reading shelter magazines and design books, and visiting museums, gardens, and historic homes. Shanna lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Daryl, and golden doodle pup, Bentley.
